Age 16+ 50cc    Age 17+ up to 125cc

To ride a motorcycle on the road in this country you must first complete a CBT training course. A CBT is a course of training covering all aspects of motorcycling and usually lasts for 1 day. The course begins at 8.30am and starts with a discussion about relevant clothing and equipment. you are then shown around a motorcycle and advised on basic maintenance etc. Then on to the bike - learning all the basics in the safe hands of your instructor. After completing all the `elements` of the site work you will then have another discussion concerning all aspects relevant to riding on the road. When that is complete we will then be ready to go and enjoy the freedom and exhilaration of motorcycling out on the public road. ALWAYS with the emphasis on SAFETY. When all `elements` of the CBT have been completed by the trainee you will then receive the DL196CBT certificate. There is no time limit for completing your CBT and it is for anyone even if you have no experience at all. YOUR ability dictates the progress of the course. At RIDESAFE we have a policy of concentrating on no more than two trainee`s to one instructor wherever possible to give you all the attention you require.
