Been riding bikes since he was a teenager in fields. Competed in trials with some success then passed his bike test in 1978 and has been riding bikes on road ever since. He started teaching 10 years ago and has completed both CBT and Direct Access Qualifications with the Driving Standards Agency and is also RoSPA Qualified. He also has the IAM qualification as well.
Richard is a dedicated and committed trainer of motorcyclists, he also has a lengthy list of validated evidence of competancey of training.
He had ridden various bikes from a Yamaha FS1E, to a Honda Magna 750, Honda Blackbird, VFR. Fazer 1000, Yamaha FJR1300 and now rides a BMW R1200GS.
